About DreamyNeedle
One needle, one thread, one small studio
DreamyNeedle began in 2019 at a kitchen table in Asheville with a borrowed sewing machine and a box of ribbon remnants. Today we're a team of four who still cut every piece by hand, press every fold, and check every clip before it's boxed.

How we work
Everything begins with the fabric. We source deadstock silk, cotton poplin, and washed linen from mills in North and South Carolina — beautiful yardage left over from larger runs that would otherwise be discarded.
A design is drafted on paper, sewn as a sample, then worn for a full week by someone on the team. If it slips, pinches, or creases hair, it goes back to the table. Only then do we cut a batch.
Orders are packed the same way we'd send a gift: tissue, a ribbon, and a note in someone's handwriting. If something isn't right, one of the four of us will answer your email personally.

What we hold to
Made by hand
No factory lines. Every piece is cut, pressed, and finished by one of four makers.
Deadstock first
We buy leftover silk and cotton from US mills so beautiful fabric doesn't get burned.
Tested for real hair
Every design is worn for a week by the team before it ever reaches the shop.
Small on purpose
Runs of 20 to 60 pieces. When they're gone, we take our time on the next batch.
